Short Inca Trail or 2-Day Inca Trail is perfect for those who don’t want to spend much time in the mountains; but still want to enjoy the wonderful mountain scenery and feel the energy of the Mother Nature. The trip was designed for travelers with altitude difficulties and interested in trekking through the wonderful trail accompanied by awesome landscape.

This trek starts at the zone of “Chachabamba” or Km104 (104 kilometers along the railway from Cusco); involves a four-hour walk uphill to the Inca ruins of “Wiñaywayna” and two hours further to Machu Picchu; making it ideal for trekkers wanting to experience at least a part of the Classic Inca Trail; but haven’t got the time (or energy) to complete the full 4-day trek.
